Test Items Analysis of Mathematical Problem Solving Ability using a Classical Test Theory Approach

This study aims to analyze the item characteristics of mathematics problem-solving ability test instrument using Classical Test Theory model. The data collection was based on results documentation as many 359 students with dichotomous data. Qualitative validation analysis by experts uses panel method, and quantitative Aiken index Content Validity Ratio (CVR), while biserial point correlation. reliability used Alpha-Cronbach method. qualitative show that all items correspond indicators solving mathematical problems, but technically writing a few needs improvement. Quantitative CVR shows are valid good validity. is stable, coefficient 0.83. Then, consists very difficult, easy levels. All were able distinguish taker's effectiveness distractor function correctly. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik butir soal instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika menggunakan model .
